We create opportunities!
NYC Dance Arts offers Community Outreach Programs to expand the artistic development of the company and create prospective avenues in performing arts field. We offer internal and external opportunities that are available to aspiring and professional dancers.
These opportunities include a Professional Dance Company, Dance Scholarship Program, Dance Festival, Residents Program, Public Relations and HouseofDance. These opportunities are executed solely by NYC Dance Arts which is rendered by the Artistic Director and Staff.
If you, your dance company, school or organization has any interest of involvement in our Community Outreach Programs it should be made known via email to the Artistic Director at nycdancearts@gmail.com. We take pride in viewing all applications in the order they are received. Consideration is based on the applicants experience and validation of the program's guidelines.
THE COMpany
The Professional Dance Company (PDC) offers an opportunity for male and female dancers to display their creative abilities in dance theatre. The Company is devised to improve the technique of beginner to advanced dancers in an intensive study in dance fields such as afro-modern, modern/contemporary, ballet, pointe and creative movement. Company members have experience in these genres and train throughout the year to perform in a major dance productions, festivals, artistic events, community events, schools and on television.
